The U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas engaged in a comprehensive modernization of its Probation and Pretrial Services website, migrating the platform from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. Serving all 105 counties in Kansas and supporting more than 60 officers and staff across the Wichita, Topeka, and Kansas City divisional offices, the project aimed to deliver a secure, accessible, and future-ready digital experience.

To support this transformation, Agileana developed a Drupal Platform as a Service (DPaaS), reusable design system, migration automation tools, and a modern toolbox to streamline the redesign, redevelopment, and migration process. The new platform was built using the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS), ensuring compliance with federal accessibility and usability standards while providing a consistent, user-centered experience.

Drupal was selected for its enterprise-grade security, robust content governance, accessibility support, scalability, and flexibility. The modernized platform provides a maintainable foundation with reusable components, structured content, standardized workflows, and the ability to support future integrations and enhancements, reducing long-term maintenance costs and improving the efficiency of content management.
