This blog post is both a test and a demonstration on how to use WordPress for search engine optimization (SEO).
The first rule of SEO (getting your website to rank on Google for your important keyword phrases) is to know the key words that your target audience seeks.
The second rule of SEO is to inject that keyword phrase into the subject line of a WordPress blog post or page.
After that, WordPress does all the work.
You will see that it places those key words in the page:
- Title
- URL
- Heading
- Link text
These are the most important places that your keywords need to exist for Google to know that your website is relevant to the search phrase.
