Happy 11th Birthday: WordPress

Coming up on May 27, 2014; WordPress turns 11 years old.  Almost a teenager.

Congratulations to Matt Mullenweg, Andrew Nacin, Peter Slutsky and the entire gang at Automattic who helps keep WordPress going and growing.

We started experimenting with WordPress in 2007 and fully embraced it as a capable content management system by 2009.  In 2010, we delivered WordPress powered content management systems for government agencies and nonprofit associations headquartered in the Washington DC metro area.

Some of our WordPress clients include American Hiking Society, Bishop John A. Marshall School, Environmental Information Exchange Network, FedScoop, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Mulberry School, and the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel.  Of course, inQbation.com is also powered by WordPress as well.

As hard core WordePress enthusiasts, we have recently attended WordCamps in Orlando and Miami as well as WordPress VIP in Napa Valley and WordPress DC Meetups in Washington DC.
