Admittedly, we are a little obsessive here at inQbation about getting found on Google and tracking our SEO progress. One of the two best tools out there are Google Analytics and Alexa. Below is a snapshot from our Google Analytics showing the progress we been making since January 1st, 2012.
As you can see, in January 2012 we were experiencing about 6,000 unique visits to our website per month (1,500 per week). By October 2012, we’re up to about 25,000 unique visits per month (6,000 per week).
We have made this 400% increase in visits over the past year by having a consistent SEO campaign and by tracking what works and what doesn’t via Google Analytics.
