In February 2015, we launched one of our first WordPress websites using WordPress as a Service platform. It was for a dentist in Herndon Virginia. As you can see, the website traffic that this Herndon Dentist is enjoying is starting to look exciting.
WordPress makes it super easy to rank on Google
The most important rule of SEO (search engine optimization) is to choose the right keywords. What are the right keywords? They are the words that your target audience is most likely to Google to find people like you, companies like yours, and websites like yours.
In the case of a dentist, people want convenience and a dentist who is on their insurance plan. So, if you can find a dentist near your house or office or on the way to work or home and they carry your insurance, then that would probably satisfy your basic needs.
For this reason, people search for dentists in their area. Somebody in New York City is going to look for dentists in the part of NYC that is within their neighborhood. Somebody in Los Angles is going to want to find a dentist in LA, not NYC. Likewise, somebody who lives in Herndon and works in Reston Town Center is going to want to find a dentist in Herndon Virginia or a dentist near Reston Town Center.
Once you find those magic keyword phrases that your target audience is most likely to Google to find you, then stick it into our WordPress as a Service platform and we’ll do the rest.
