Celebrating work anniversaries: Shefali Naik

We like to celebrate special occasions. But while birthdays are nice, not everybody likes to bring attention to the fact they are one year older. Moreover, reaching yet another year of life is not always an accomplishment worth celebrating at work. Work anniversaries, on the other hand, are definitely worth celebrating. Particularly in the current day and age of job hopping and multiple careers over a lifetime, we believe that every year at one particular company is noteworthy.

On that note, we would like to celebrate the first year, Paper Anniversary, of Shefali Naik (PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe Agilist).

We originally met Shefali at a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe for Lean Enterprises) workshop and took note of her really smart questions, comments, and observations. Less than a month later, she was an agilist at Agileana.

Shefali holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI), a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Master Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, and a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe Agilist) from Scaled Agile. She is also a Sun Certified Java Programmer. Her next certification will likely be Acquia Certification in Drupal.

Shefali has brilliantly managed projects for Smithsonian Museum, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, National 4-H Council, Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS), and Interstate Industrialized Buildings Commission (IIBC).

She has attended WordPress DC Meetups, Drupalcon Baltimore, and WordCamp DC. Shefali has also participated in two hackathons and an intern mentorship program as a mentor.

We look forward to Shefali continuing to serve clients in an agile way and positioning herself as an indispensable technical leader and agile project manager at Agileana.
