Agileana wins the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum website upgrade and migration

WASHINGTON, DC – In September 2021, the National Archives (NARA) awarded Agileana a digital services blanket purchase agreement (BPA). In September 2022, NARA awarded Agileana a task order against that BPA to migrate the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum from Expression Engine to Drupal version 9. The performance work statement (PWS) includes:

  1. Establish a baseline with the current Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum website;
  2. Perform stakeholder and audience research to determine the user experience and design direction for the new website;
  3. Design a new Front-end User Interface (i.e. theme) for the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum website;
  4. Setup and configure a new website in Drupal 9, in accordance with Attachment 1; Performance Work Statement.
  5. Migrate all content from the library’s existing content management system (i.e. ExpressionEngine) to Drupal 9, Gutenberg blocks;
  6. Modify and/or redesign existing features to function within Drupal 9 Gutenberg blocks; 
  7. Build and configure a global site search engine (i.e. ElasticSearch) that indexes all page nodes and media types with binary attachments;
  8. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve reported issues prior to the launch of the website;
  9. Provide training and documentation for web content editors;
  10. Assist in the launch of the website; and
  11. Provide post-launch support of the website
