Hi everyone!
Today in the Summer Internship Hackathon we started out with a Stand Up meeting and discussed what we did, what we are planning to do and any obstacles we had. I thought the meeting was a really good way to get caught up with everyone doing.
We started working on the traction for SEO Quotient today and we are going to try and get a few more likes on the Facebook pages as well as followers on Twitter. Also, we are going to try and pitch the idea of a SEO analysis tool to some small business forums once we get the email accounts in line.
On a different note, I think we are going to go with the name Balystic for the 7D Hub idea because we already have social media accounts and a URL.
During the afternoon, Blake gave us an introduction to search engine optimization and he told us about the five important factors needed to rank high on google. Keywords are important! I’m looking forward to gaining more traction tomorrow.
