18F Agile BPA Contract Holder

We first started hearing about the 18F Agile Delivery Services (ADS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) around late 2014.  By January 2015, 18F started to put feelers and request for information (RFI) out on FBopen.  GSA held an industry day about the potential BPA in February, 2015.  Then, they had a pre-solicitation conference in May, 2015.  Then in June, 2015 the Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Agile BPA hit the street.

On July 7, 2015, we submitted our proposal for 18F Agile BPA using the following prototype:

By August, 2015, GSA had made their selections and by September we were notified that Agileana was one of the 17 vendors selected to be part of the 18F Agile BPA. Of course, there were protests after protests. But, by March 2016, we started seeing the first task order come out of 18F, which was for the FedRamp dashboard.

Now, it’s late summer 2016, and we have seen the third task order come out of 18F. The most recent one was for Identity Management Shared Authentication Platform support. We look forward to a more frequent cadence of task orders come out as time goes on.

We also look forward to future BPAs and IDIQs for agile services. In fact, DHS recently closed competition for the FLASH IDIQ and EPA is putting together their own agile BPA.
